What kind of parking is available?

Parking for cars is available on the premises. Bus parking is available across the street from the museum.

Is the Museum wheelchair accessible?

The first floor of the Museum is wheelchair accessible. Strollers are not permitted.

What is the tour schedule?

February - December: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm. Each tour is approximately 45 minutes and is lead by guides in period costumes. The last tour begins at 3:20 pm. (The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.) Click here for more on tours.

Is there an admission charge?

Adults $8.00. Seniors/Youth under 18 /Students with valid ID $5.00.

Do you have a gift shop?

For creative gift ideas try The Museum Gift Shop where you'll find a selection of books associated with Ridgefield, the Keeler, Resseguie and Gilbert families and other unique publications. You'll also find exquisite handcrafted jewelry, a wide assortment of paper products, children's items, and unique household accessories. Open during regular Museum hours and by appointment during business hours.

Can your tour program accommodate large groups?

To ensure a smooth visit, groups of 10 or more should make advance reservations. Groups should arrive at the museum 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time and should allow a total of 1 hour for the visit. Do you have family and genealogy records?

Yes, but only for the Keeler, Resseguie, and Gilbert families.

What is the Keeler Tavern Preservation Society, Inc. (KTPS)?

It is the umbrella organization that operates the Keeler Tavern Museum and the Garden House.
