Scarecrow Contest / Fall for Ridgefield Weekend

Nearly two dozen families, individuals and businesses purchased scarecrow frames from Keeler Tavern Museums and had a lot of fun imaginatively decorating them for display during Fall in Love with Ridgefield weekend. Visit all the submissions and vote for your favorites at the street-side ballot boxes oronline at Keeler Tavern Museum’s Facebook page. Winners of the street-ballot votes will be announced by October 23; Facebook voting will continue through October 31.

Tag Sale to Benefit Cass Gilbert Barn Restoration
 

Date: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, October 24 - 26, 2014

When: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Where: Cass Gilbert Barn

Cost: Free

Come purchase gently used household goods, furniture, and decorative items for your home, dorm, or first apartment.

All proceeds go to restoration of the Cass Gilbert Carriage Barn.

Museum Benefit Dinner: A Monte Carlo Soiree

Where: Salem Golf Club

Cost: Sponsorships start at $500.00, individual tickets $150.00 each

Join us for a "Monte Carlo Soiree"to benefit the Museum, featuring dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, and games of chance. We'll also honor the recipient of our Cannonball "Women of the Year" Award, Christine Lodewick, for her long-time support of the Museum and many other community organizations.

 

Sponsorships—at four levels, $500, $1,500, $3,000 and $5,000—are available and include guest tickets, depending on sponsor level.$75 of each Gala ticket is tax deductible. Sponsorships are fully tax deductible, less $75 per guest.

Christmas Luncheons

Where: Keeler Tavern Museum’s Garden House

Seating Times: 11:30am and 1:30pm

Cost: $30/person; wine available ($5/glass, cash)

 

Come with friends, family, and busineess associates for a meal in the gracious space that Cass Gilbert designed for elegant social occasions. Served at a leisurely pace with an optional glass of wine, this eventprovides a welcome respite from the holiday rush. Enjoy sautéed chicken with lemon caper sauce, our signature cranberry chutney, wild rice, fresh garden salad, dessert, and coffee or tea. New this year, patrons may purchase a glass of wine ($5, cash).

 

This annual event provides critical funding for Museum operations. By inviting others to join you for a festive meal, you help us continue our 300-year-tradition as a treasured gathering place.

Advance, pre-paid reservations are required. A single contact and payment are requested for groups of six or more. Please note that reservations are non-refundable.

 

Online registration will be available shortly. As early reservations are encouraged, especially for large groups, please feel free to call the Museum office now to make a reservation.
