In 1907, the Keeler Tavern property was purchased to be used as a summer residence by noted American architect Cass Gilbert (Woolworth Building, NYC, Supreme Court Building Washington, D.C.).
He designed and built the Garden House on the property behind the former Tavern about 1915.

Set-up and Tear-down:
Items and equipment must be removed within 1 hour of the end of the event or by 9:30 PM, unless
arrangements have been approved for next morning pickup.
Overtime charges will be applied if items are not removed by deadline stipulated in contract.

Garden:
The Garden House faces a formal garden with brick walls, arched
pathways and a reflecting pool with fountain.
Maintained by a Museum Garden Committee, it contains seasonal
plantings. Guests may explore the garden area while at the event, but no furniture or tents are permitted.
