Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center is proud to offer educational resources for students and teachers, from onsite tours to dynamic in-classroom programs to customizable professional development opportunities.
Through interactive storytelling, primary source document and object analysis, and hands-on activities, at KTM&HC, students make personal connections to history. We prioritize inquiry-based learning, empowering students to learn about our site-specific history and make connections to broader national themes, past and present. Our goal is to grow students’ critical thinking, curiosity, and empathy.
KTM&HC school programs support C3 Frameworks for Social Studies, Connecticut Social Studies Frameworks, Common Core Learning Standards, and STEM + STEAM guidelines.
