Ridgefield, Conn.— Be sure to add Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center’s Holiday Boutique to your Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and No-Catchy-Slogan Sunday shopping plans!
Following a record-setting opening weekend, the Holiday Boutique is open this Friday through Sunday with a robust and thoughtfully curated collection of gifts, decor, and pieces made by local artisans. In response to increased demand, the team has ordered new items and the artisans are expanding their offerings – so check back weekly for new arrivals. And don't forget to ask about custom orders!
Also on sale: our famous cranberry chutney, a decades-long tradition with an award-winning recipe. It’s the perfect pairing for Thanksgiving leftovers – get yours before it sells out.
The Holiday Boutique is also gearing up for Ridgefield’s Holiday Stroll weekend. On Friday, December 5 from noon to 2 p.m., author Pamela McColl will be at the Boutique to sign her book, The Wondrous Mrs. Claus: A Literary and Pictorial Review of the Classic Christmas Character. The book explores the history around Mrs. Claus, including her roots in Connecticut: the first written reference to Mrs. Claus was in the Yale Literary Magazine in 1851. The Boutique will also be open on December 5 until 7 p.m., with special extended hours to match KTM&HC’s Open House. And on Saturday, December 6, featured artisan Lori Meehan, a metalsmith and creator of handmade jewelry, will be at the Holiday Boutique from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., creating customized necklaces with initials and charms. Shoppers can also work with Ms. Meehan in person about additional customized options and special requests.
KTM&HC members receive discounts on selected Boutique merchandise, and new/renewed memberships are available at checkout. The Boutique is open Thursdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., until December 21. Closed on Thanksgiving. Ample parking is available onsite at 152 Main Street, Ridgefield.
