Throughout 2026, KTM&HC is thrilled to host a rotating collection of quilts made by Tony Award winning actor, author, artist, activist, and Ridgefield resident Harvey Fierstein. The quilts are displayed in our Visitor Center.
On View Now: "Scrappy Bobo"
From Harvey: "'SCRAPPY BOBO' is, as the title implies, a quilt made up of leftovers from other projects. Not wanting to waste fabric, quilters often save up their scraps and use them to make other things. My scrap bin was so overflowing that I finally could no longer avoid the challenge. My efforts resulted in 3 scrap quilts. This was the 2nd. I love the abandon of putting colors and patterns together in unexpected ways. I also get to revisit each fabric as I sew them together. I hope you enjoy the results."
