Annual Appeal

Thank you for donating to our Annual Appeal! Your gift today can support initiatives, general operations, educational programs, and preservation projects. You might also consider joining our Keeler Legacy Circle or setting up a recurring or investment-based gift to provide steady support throughout the year, helping ensure that KTM&HC thrives for generations to come.

To make a gift with a credit card, please fill out the secure form below.

A Donor-Advised Fund allows you to recommend grants to the Museum directly from your charitable giving account. Please notify KTM&HC if you make a DAF gift, as the sponsoring organization may not share your information. To recommend a grant, contact your DAF provider and direct it to Keeler Tavern Preservation Society, Inc., Tax ID: 06-6076244.

If you are age 70½ or older, gifts from your IRA to KTM&HC are tax free, and if you are 73 or older, they count towards your required minimum distribution. To make a gift, contact your IRA custodian.

With your generosity . . .

. . . our staff, board, and volunteers have kept history alive in ways that inspire curiosity and community. Visitors come to KTM&HC because they know they’ll experience history that is full and honest, connecting our shared past to the present and helping shape the future. In 2025, we:

  • Launched a year-long America250 commemoration, featuring new collaborative public programs, community conversations, school outreach initiatives, special exhibitions, and a July 4th Family Day that welcomed more than 1,400 visitors to our site;
  • Introduced Beams to Balustrades, a new tour telling the story of our historic house—from its colonial origins to its 20th-century preservation, through the lens of architecture, craftsmanship, and energy efficiency;
  • Attracted new audiences locally, regionally, and nationally through high-profile events such as Harvey Fierstein’s world-premiere quilt exhibition, Poetry in the Garden workshops and readings, and our sold-out Ghosts of Ridgefield tours; and
  • Expanded our educational reach through grant-funded school initiatives, new district partnerships, and immersive experiences for students from pre-K through high school.

As an independent nonprofit, KTM&HC relies on continued community support to sustain its programs and preservation work—we receive no ongoing town, state, or federal funding. Every contribution, no matter the size, has a real impact.

Thank you for being an essential part of our story. Together, we are making and preserving history!
